Johnnie's Veterans Day

Johnnie took Our Dog, Ivy his camera and our laptop on a wild ride across the desert toward Grand Canyon. He drove for hours across the Navajo Reservation just to find some beautiful canyons. He followed the Little Colorado River Gorge. He and Ivy had a wonderful day.

Arizona

It is the weee hours of the morning 2:30 ish. I cannot sleep the pain level has greatly increased.I ate a double dose of pain meds, heres hoping for a fast fix.
I find it odd that here in the state where most find relief from aches and pain mine has amped up. maybe I just needed to get up and have some quiet time.

Went thru WInslow, Az today no pictures, huh.... did the Wal-mart thing 2nd best photo lab I have ever been to. surprisenly I didn't get the kids name. :(
Not sure of what we are doing today. I am probably going to work on Danise & Lloyde's
scrapbook, untill evening when we go Lowell observatory. It is only $6. regular price lower for seniors etc....
another museum we went to that impressed me, was in Alamogordo,NM. the Space Museum..... didn't charge military current or retired, and Wives only Paid $5....
would love to take grandkids in there.....:)
the little local museum in Alamogordo, was pretty cool too. one of thier displays was a poster display of local pictures , people and things that happened from early 1900's
Basically it was a scrapbook poster sized ! they had used CM stickers in it a pack I have used! small world.
I am rambling and thinking pain med it starting to work and maybe some pretty rock pictures are here now . Night !

Family Fun 2009

wow we had a whirl wind 2 weeks.....Washington to NY Sunday to Thursday arriving
NY 7:30pm. went to Boston Friday morning 7:30am. visited Jeff and his Kids untill Saturday 7:30pm....back to NY arrriving 1am..8am up and off to a family birthday party at Jamey & Bonnie's great to see everyone. back to Brians and Dinner with him and Joan....next day time with Jamey & family... so many people so little time,
Tuesday is my day with Dusti :) Johnnie stayed at the camper to clean and organize..
we had fun, went to visit Debbie for the use of her hot tub boy did that help !!
we left NY 7:30am Wednesday arriving Richmond, Kentucky with no brakes working on the 12,000 pound trailer....250 dollars later Johnnie is working on replacing brakes on 2 of the 4 tires in a mall parking his cousins show up and we go onto McKee for the family reunion....holy COW the roads sucks here and Johnnie is in a hurry we are going like hell on twisty turny narrow roads, then we get to Roberts driveway...holy ....prayer is all that got me to the camperspot....thank you lord !
great family reunion.......then we had to come out of that driveway...:( dear God....thank you for getting us this far safely !
we are now camper-carivanning with Lloyd & Danise with a timeline untill next weekend is over then we are free and in New Mexico........:)

on the road again

we are about to be on the road again. so if you get to see us I'm glad, and if we missed you I am sad, hopefully our paths will come together somewhere some time soon

another wonderful day in Washington

as fall gently drops on our mountains, you can hear the sounds of the tourists going home and those of us that live here picking up the trash left behind. Another season of my life has past, a new one begun. I am thankful for today and where I am. I saw so very much this summer and will hold memories dear to me forever.

I went on a wonderful wine tasting tour this summer but cannot get my wines home to me...
Dusti tried to mail them, to Ups them...etc, no one allows wine to go thru now if you lie and tell them it is something else, they will ship it and not care, but alas Dusti is honest, so she gets to drink my wine....humm...
Any Who... I decided to try a different tact, some of the wineries advertised "free shipping to your home" while I was there, so I went online ordered a case and guess what, they ship !! my wine will be arriving next Tuesday!! this winery ships with Fed-x, and they have a contract to ship in my state WOO HOO ! ....I should say my second choice wines will be arriving... because, (RANT) the first choice winery does not want to be a fed-x customer.......they ship UPS....talk about snotty people! the office girl was put out that she had to talk to me and then hung up with-out a good-bye, kiss my ass, or nothing... just click. geez....
But the silver lining is I liked the coming wines,
and will probably not remember what the others tasted like.......
so... screw you nautie winery !!!!
